Uniform Commercial Codes (UCC)
The Recorders Office maintains and retrieves liens for real estate only. All other UCC filings are handled through the Iowa Secretary of State. You can contact them at 515-281-5204.
For real estate UCC filings please use the forms provided below. Please follow the instructions included with the forms when filing. The filing fee is $7.00 for the first page and $5.00 each additional page. If you have more questions give our office a call at 515-286-3160.
